A majestic and inspiring arrangement of My Country ‘Tis of Thee, for antiphonal choirs. Bi-tonality, asymmetrical meters and new text bring color and vitality to this American classic hymn tune. A narrator and an antiphonal choir speak twice in the opening section with quotes from the Constitution Preamble. Each stanza receives a different treatment—a quiet chorale, a soaring soprano descant with the last stanza noble and strong. Suitable for church, advanced high school, college and university choirs.
